Starting Friday, Alice’s Champagne Palace teams up with Salmonfest to bring a music series, the Salmonfest Concert Series, to Homer that will continue through the August Salmonfest Aftershock Concerts.

The lineup includes local bands and Anchorage and national acts. Some of the bands performing at Alice’s include Juicy Harps, Tom Grebe and Cold Country, A Night of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers (all-star band), Raised by Humans, the Shoot Dangs, Matt Hopper and the Roman Candles, Blue Voodoo Band, Tom Hunter, Emma Hill with Kat Moore and Kevin Worrell, Spank Williams and the Poor Choices, Big Fat Buddha, Sasparilla, Boogie Shoes, Good Time Travelers, Hope Social Club, Head for the Hills and the Grateful Bluegrass Boys. All shows start at 9 p.m., with some acts appearing at no cover charge.
