By Road:

Salmonfest is held at the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds in Ninilchik, south of Kenai and north of Homer on the Sterling Highway. It’s a beautiful drive from the Mat-Su Valley, Anchorage Bowl, Fairbanks or Valdez. Follow the Seward Highway to the Sterling Highway turnoff and continue along the Sterling through Cooper Landing, past Soldotna and Kenai, to Ninilchik. The Fairgrounds is at Mile 136 on the east side of the Sterling Highway.

There are awesome shuttle options from Homer and Anchorage that run daily by the fairgrounds with the AK Shuttle Bus, check out their website for scheduling and booking- https://www.alaskabuscompany.com/ After booking, please call 907-299-6806 to confirm drop off location.

By Air:

Flights are available from the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage to Kenai or Homer. Check with Ravn Alaska for available flights.
