We’re thrilled to welcome you to Salmonfest and host your crew of friends and family. ARCHES On-site camping is available for tents, cars, vans, RVs, and campers. We’ve compiled a list of alternative camping options below, many located along our free shuttle route to keep you connected to the fun, fish and music all weekend long!

Camping On-Site at ARCHES
Not yet open for reservations, COMING SOON.
The ARCHES Onsite campground is the closest and most convenient place to camp. Reservations at this campground are only available to Salmonfest ticket holders (soon for 2025).
Camping Nearby
If you don’t land an ARCHES spot, don’t worry! There is plenty of camping available near Salmonfest. The most convenient is right across the highway from the fairgrounds at the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds Campground. Another nearby recommendation is J&J Smart Charters/Deep Creek View Campground, which has more than 100 sites available and a good location, very close to the festival.

Shuttle
The Salmonfest shuttle is a free service for those with a Salmonfest wristband. Vans will be circulating throughout the shuttle stops during the festival. Shuttle schedule and stops are subject to change at any time. Please look to the Salmonfest Info Booth for updated Shuttle information during the festival. The shuttle driver’s phone number is also typically available at the Info Booth. That way you can always call for the most up to date schedule information.

Camping FAQs
How many days can we camp?
Camping opens the week of the festival on Thursday evening at 6 pm and is available through Sunday night until 11AM on Monday morning. You can choose to purchase a ticket for 3 nights or 4 nights.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Salmonfest is open to all ages. Certain areas including beer gardens are only open to adults over the age of 21. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. Teen tickets are available for youth age 13-17. Senior tickets are for those who are 65+. Adult tickets apply to those who are age 18-64.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking for day attendance is available for a small fee across the highway from the fairgrounds. All proceeds support local youth organizations. Because of limited parking space, please park at your campground and make use of the free Salmonfest shuttle that runs all weekend. What can't I bring to the event?
Guns, glass, pets, outside alcohol and illegal drugs are not permitted anywhere on the festival site.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
You may transfer your ticket to another person. Email info@salmonfestalaska.org for help.
Can I update my registration information?
You can update your information via your Eventbrite account.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes. Please bring either the print out of your ticket, or the PDF confimation file on your phone. For camping, the information should be printed and must match the vehicle you are driving.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. You can, however, transfer your ticket to someone else’s name.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
It’s best to transfer the ticket into a different name. Please email info@salmonfestalaska.org for help. It is okay if you give your print out to someone with a different name. For this reason, be very careful with your ticket printout. Once the ticket is used and checked off our list, another person will not be able to enter with the same ticket.
